Florence + The Machine - Cosmic Love

I can't say enough how much her voice, music,
and lyrics call to me. A masterful singer... you kick ass girl!

A fallen star,
Fell from your heart,
And landed in my eyes,

I screamed aloud,
As it tore through them,
And now it's left me blind,

The stars, the moon,
They have all been blown out,
You left me in the dark,

No dawn, no day,
I'm always in this twilight,
In the shadow of your heart,

And in the dark,
I can hear your heartbeat,
I try to find the sound,

But then it stopped,
And I was in the darkness,
So darkness I became,

The stars, the moon,
They have all been blown out,
You left me in the dark,

No dawn, No day,
I'm always in this twlight,
In the shadow of your heart,

Ooooh

I took the stars from my eyes,
And then I made a map,
I knew that some how,
I could find my way back,

Then I heard your heart beating,
you were in the darkness too,
So I stayed in the darkness with you,

The stars, the moon,
They have all been blown out,
You left me in the dark,  (you left me in the dark)

No dawn, no day,
I'm always in the twilight,
In the shadow of your heart.

God I LOVE This Song...

... and NO not because of the film Eclipse. I have read too many tales of great loves throughout history and mythology, even in fantasy novels that surpass this film's mere notion of what love truly is...
and it sure ain't child's play.

"Heavy In Your Arms" - Florence And The Machine [OFFICIAL]

I was a heavy heart to carry
My beloved was weighed down
My arms around his neck
My fingers laced to crown.
I was a heavy heart to carry
My feet dragged across ground
And he took me to the river
Where he slowly let me drown

My love has concrete feet
My love's an iron ball
Wrapped around your ankles
Over the waterfall

I'm so heavy, heavy
Heavy in your arms
I'm so heavy, heavy
Heavy in your arms

And is it worth the wait
All this killing time?
Are you strong enough to stand
Protecting both your heart and mine?
Who is the betrayer?
Who's the killer in the crowd?
The one who creeps in corridors
And doesn't make a sound

My love has concrete feet
My love's an iron ball
Wrapped around your ankles
Over the waterfall
My love has concrete feet
My love's an iron ball
Wrapped around your ankles
Over the waterfall

I'm so heavy, heavy
Heavy in your arms
I'm so heavy, heavy
So heavy in your arms

This will be my last confession
I love you never felt like any blessing
(Ohhhh)
Whispering like it's a secret
Only to condemn the one who hears it
With a heavy heart

Heavy heavy I'm so heavy in your arms
(I'm so) Heavy heavy I'm so heavy in your arms
(I'm so) Heavy heavy I'm so heavy in your arms
(I'm so) Heavy heavy I'm so heavy in your arms

I was a heavy heart to carry
My beloved was weighed down
My arms around his neck
My fingers laced to crown
I was a heavy heart to carry
But he never let me down
When he had me in his arms
My feet never touched the ground

I'm so heavy, heavy in your arms.
Heavy, I'm so heavy in your arms.

Bio:
"I have been an artist in some way my whole life. I have always been in art programs when I was in school, and would draw from animal books for hours, and make illustrations for short stories that my sister and I would create. I started painting about 4 years ago. I started out using oil paints, then moved to acrylic due to the mess I made with the oils :)

My favorite things to paint are skeleton family portraits, peacocks, and whimsical trees. It's my personal belief that the only way to grow and become a better artist is to paint a little everyday. Since opening my shop in August 2010, I have sold 80+ paintings, have been involved in 2 local art festivals, and have my art for sale at a local restaurant. I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I love everyday :) "

ICO - You Were There...

Today is my birthday and I'd like to share with you a
little bit of beauty. I'm in love with this song and the
innocence of this boy's voice. The song is from the beloved
video game classic "ICO."An enchanting tale about a cursed little boy with horns and his courage in the face of darkness, his love for a young fairy maiden, and the ultimate sacrifice she must make to protect him This is one of the pieces that I always listen
to whenever I'm working on my art or writing my stories.
I hope you enjoy.

The island bathes in the sun's bright rays
Distant hills wear a shroud of grey
A lonely breeze whispers in the trees
Sole witness to history

Fleeting memories rise
From the shadows of my mind
Sing "nonomori" - endless corridors
Say "nonomori" - hopeless warriors
You were there
You were there

Am I forever dreaming
How to define the way I'm feeling

You were there
Countless visions they haunt me in my sleep
You were there
Though forgotten all promises we keep

Slaves to our destiny
I recall a melody
Sing "nonomori" - seasons lit with gold
Say "nonomori" - legends yet untold
You were there
You were there

Happiness follows sorrow
Only believing in tomorrow

You were there
Countless visions they haunt me in my sleep
You were there
Though forgotten all promises we keep

The island bathes in the sun's bright rays
Distant hills wear a shroud of grey
A lonely breeze whispers in the trees
Sole key to this mystery

Amethyst Necklace...

My NIRA Amethyst Necklace was treasured on ETSY!!

FYI an ETSY "TREASURY" is when people on ETSY select  items from their favorite shops and make a public list for everyone to see. Sellers cannot put their own items in treasuries, so its really marvelous when people love your work so much that they showcase it for you!
Its great for us sellers as it boosts sales!
