Home Stretch....

Well my friends, my final quarter at the
Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising
has begun. I will try to do my best to post when
I can, though I will be a very swamped with work
on my collection. It's gonna be a tough ride but
I'm thrilled to be on the home stretch! Only 9 more
weeks before my life truly begins!!!

I'll try to sneak some classroom photos to share with ya :)

Prince of Persia

Now I know it may be hard to believe, but YES, the legends are true! There are some ladies such as myself who indulge in fashion, literature, AND video games. My brother gets most of the credit, but I guess it also helps to be surrounded by gamer guys since I was a wee lass. Thanks to them I've had a healthy dose of comics and scifi mixed with a hint of gaming galore.

Most games that have been made into films turn out to be terribly disappointing.
However, after seeing the film Prince of Persia, I actually liked it... no, I LOVED it!

Now, I know some of you (Tony, Bryan & Erich haha), might cringe at my sacrilegious thought, but I found it to be a delightful surprise. We know its not as awesome as the games
you guys, but I thought it was a lot of fun!

Anyways, I thought I'd share with you my new favorite quote
from the film Prince of Persia: Sands of Time,
"It Is Said Some Lives Are Linked Across Time.....
They Are Connected By An Ancient Calling that echoes through the ages.....
Destiny"

COMIC CON!!!!!!!!

The SDCC is a couple of weeks away!!!! One of my guilty pleasures since I was a kid. Growing each year by the hundreds (ok maybe thousands?), Comic Con has become a diverse collective encompassing comics, video games, film, costumes, illustrators, books and countless more. It will be a grand time to see my cousins' faces light up as it will be their first time attending.
I smile impishly as I quote from the film Under the Tuscan Sun, "Never lose your childish enthusiasm and things will come your way."

Fun Times!

Went to the Japanese Animation arts expo in downtown
this weekend with friends. It was nice they even had an

outdoor concert of sorts as well for everyone to
enjoy
during the event that lasted long into the night.

I hope everyone had a lovely 4th of July!!!
(I'm so glad to be sporting my signature peacock do again ;)
